Information Received by New Avenue
Personal Information. New Avenue collects personal information only if you voluntarily choose to share such information with New Avenue. You may browse the Site without disclosing any personal information. However, in order for you to take advantage of particular opportunities provided through the Service, we may require that you furnish personal information. When you register for an account, sign up for newsletters, complete forms for optional programs, surveys, contests and other entries, and engage with communications transmitted through the Service, we may collect information including, but not limited to, your name, address, email address, phone number, credit card information, age, products purchased for your home, family member information, intent of use of the Service, and preferences related to the Service. You also may choose to send New Avenue personally identifying information in an email message containing information or inquiries about the Service.
Anonymous or Aggregated Data. New Avenue collects and stores certain data about the use of the Service on an aggregate and/or anonymous basis. Such information may include pages viewed and search terms entered on the Site. New Avenue does not link this information to anything personally identifiable to you.

Logged Data. Logged data is collected by our servers and third parties about connections, devices and network conditions while a User is connected to the Service. We collect and store certain types of system log data whenever you interact with the Service, including search terms, pages viewed, and the IP address.We collect logged data to better understand which devices are using the Service and their performance levels in order to continually optimize our software and Services to provide the most efficient and stable service to Users.
IP Address. When you visit and interact with the Site, New Avenue and/or third parties with whom New Avenue has contracted to provide services to New Avenue may collect your Internet Protocol Address (“IP Address”), which is a number that is automatically assigned to the computer that you are using by your Internet Service Provider. This number is identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever you visit the Site, along with the time(s) of your visit(s) and the page(s) that you visited. We use IP Addresses to monitor the regions from which Users navigate the Site and for fraud prevention purposes.
Social Networking Services. We may collect information about you when you register for or log into the Service by logging into an account that you have with third parties, including social networking services (“SNS”) such as Facebook. When you sign up for the Service for the first time by using an SNS sign-in, we collect the credentials about you that you make available in your privacy settings within that SNS.
The Company also collects and uses personal data regarding its employees (“Employee Data”), which may include: name, address, job title and other job information, location, compensation information, identification number, employment history, and a copy of employment agreements.
Only authorized New Avenue staff have access to your Personal Information in its entirety. Other staff may have access to portions of this information if it pertains to their job duties.
New Avenue's Use of Personal Information
New Avenue uses Personal Information for the following general purposes:
1. to provide the Service,
2. for identification and authentication, and fraud prevention,
3. to analyze Site usage and improve the Service,
4. to contact you and deliver administrative notices and communications relevant to your use of the Service,
5. for internal market research, troubleshooting problems, and detecting and protecting against error, fraud or other criminal activity,
6. for use by contractors and architects (“Vendors”) as specified in the Service,

Although we ensure that our third party agents (“Agents”) receiving your information are bound by privacy restrictions at least as restrictive as those set forth in this policy, New Avenue is not responsible for any issues that may arise regarding the Privacy Policies of any of its affiliates or advertiser. By using this website, you do hereby agree to hold New Avenue harmless from any claims and/or damages that may arise from the actions of any of its affiliates and/or advertisers.
Two things drive New Avenue's decisions regarding the use of information collected from Users: 1) improving user experience by offering personalized services and content, and 2) market research.
New Avenue may advertise products, companies and events that we think might interest you through the email address you provide.
New Avenue may analyze Personal Information and Web Navigational Data based on your interests and may use the analysis from this information in a way that doesn’t reveal a User’s personal information (“Market Research”) in order to:
1. Market the Service
2. Improve the likelihood of a sale to a group of Users
3. Increase the likelihood that a group's experience with the Service is relevant to its interests as a whole
New Avenue uses data at the individual level to sell products and services to Users who express an interest in these products and services, through a poll for example, or to Users who can be presumed to have an interest based on results from our Market Research.
Employee Data is only used for the for the purposes of facilitating the performance of certain administrative tasks and functions relating to general employment and for processing and investigating reports under the Company’s codes and policies (“Employee Data Purposes”).
We use Financial Information solely as authorized by you in accordance with the Service.
You may opt-out of receiving communications from us and our partners, remove your information from our database, and choose to not receive future communications unrelated to the Service.
During registration you choose whether to receive correspondence from either New Avenue or its partners and whether you want to participate in a variety of New Avenue programs. This information remains on your Profile where you can, at any point, easily edit it to indicate that you have changed your mind. After logging on, go to your account settings and make your selections. If you purchase anything through New Avenue, we may occasionally contact you with information about special events, sales, activities, promotions, contests, submission opportunities and programs. You always have the option to ask New Avenue not to contact you with this information again.

Do Not Track
We do not track or respond to browser “Do Not Track” Requests.
New Avenue's information retention policy
To preserve the integrity of our databases, we may retain information submitted by Users for an indefinite length of time. If required by law, we will delete Personal Information by erasing it from our database. We will also respond to User requests to delete or correct account or Personal Information, which you can do by contacting New Avenue at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by updating the settings in your account. If you are actively using the Services, you may not opt out of sharing Personal Information with third parties who are providing the Services without first canceling the Services.
New Avenue security of collected information
Your New Avenue account is password-protected so that only you and authorized New Avenue staff and contractors have access to your account information. Certain pieces of information that you upload or make available for Vendors will be accessible by them as specified in the Service. You may change your password at any time. In order to maintain this protection, do not give your password to anyone. If someone who represents to you they are New Avenue staff and asks for any personal account information, including password, check their URL. If the e-mail address doesn't say the “@newavenuehomes.com”, they aren’t. Also, if you share a computer, you should sign out of your New Avenue account and close the browser window before someone else logs on. This will help protect your information entered on public terminals from disclosure to third parties.
This site incorporates physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, including encryption to protect your personal information online, and we also take several steps to protect your personal information in our facilities. Access to your personal information is restricted. Only employees and third parties who need access to your personal information to perform a specific job are granted access to your personal information, and are granted access via temporarily authorized, expiring links. Finally, we rely on third-party service providers for the physical security of some of our computer hardware. We believe that their security procedures are adequate.

While New Avenue will use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of all credit card and all other personal information, we expressly disclaim any liability for any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal and/or financial information stored therein, and you agree to hold New Avenue harmless for any damages that may result therefrom.
With whom does New Avenue share information?
When you submit information to New Avenue, it is collected, processed and maintained solely by us or by third party agents who are bound by privacy restrictions at least as restrictive as those set forth in this policy. We may allow our business partners to collect information about Users that is not extremely sensitive Information. If you would like to opt out from the onward transfer of your information to our non-agent partners, you may send us an email at email@example.com. Include the word "privacy" in the subject line of the email and all your registration information in the body of the email.
New Avenue reserves the right to disclose Personal Information from both private and public areas of this website at our discretion, if required by law or if we are given reason to believe, in our sole discretion, that someone is causing injury to or interference with the rights of Users, the general public, or New Avenue, to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process.
How can Users edit their information?
New Avenue believes strongly in giving you the ability to access and edit your personal information. You can log in to your account to view, update and correct your account information. You may edit your account information at any time -- all you need is your username and password.
So that we can protect the integrity of sensitive data, there are certain pieces of information, such as your age, that you cannot alter yourself. For example, since children under 18 are not allowed to register as Users, we need to take reasonable measures to preserve the accuracy of our Users' ages. Our databases automatically update any Personal Information you edit in your profile, or that you request we edit. Information transmitted through boards, chats, polls or through any other means remains in our databases and becomes the property of New Avenue upon submission.
Notification of changes
California Privacy Rights
Users who are California residents may request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, certain information about the personally identifiable information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. If applicable, this information would include a list of the categories of personally identifiable information that was shared and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
